Award-winning Tiny Rebel Brewing Company finally opened its first bar in its home city of Newport and offered the first 100 through the doors a free pint to celebrate. The company, which owns Urban Tap House on Cardiff’s Westgate Street, first confirmed rumours it was branching out back in September 2015, following a stint running a successful pop up pub in Newport city centre.

As much a music museum as it is a bar, its walls are plastered with old music posters, while cocktails like Docks on the Rocks, Port and Proud, Bettws Bhangra, and the J Frosty Square pay homage to the unreconstructed city of old.
